Any conduct or action un-becoming or un-professional while attending sessions at a different location may result in the offending individual receiving grade penalties imposed at the discretion of the instructor.
Class Attendance and Administrative Withdrawal
Class Attendance is an integral part of grading in this course, therefore, attendance and participation is required to successfully complete the course.
All lessons should be taken at the Homestead Ski Area and completed prior to the closing of the slopes. Usually closing occurs around March 01, but closing can occur earlier if conditions are unfavorable. Regardless of when closing occurs, you are responsible for completing assignments. Students are required to take one lesson each week. It is not acceptable to complete all lessons at the end of the season. More than one lesson on a single day will be given credit as a single lesson.
When a student is unable to complete the snowboarding course or if closing occurs before completing the course, the student should request permission to withdraw. The instructor will not initiate withdrawal procedures; students must assume this responsibility. A student’s withdraw from a course without academic penalty must be made by. Anyone who has not withdrawn by this date and who has not completed at least the "D" level requirements will receive an F.
