ADJ Club meetings for Spring Semester, 2007, will be held in Room 651
in the Armory / Convocation Center on the following dates, at 1230:

Proposed Community Service Projects

Will be chosen at the club's discretion. Possible projects could include:  Visitation to local high schools and addressing students to promote the ADJ program at DSLCC  and the positive outcomes of assisting with local law enforcement projects.   Development and conduction of the Seventh Annual Criminal Justice Career Fair in March, 2007, to provide career information for both DSLCC  and area high school students.  Fundraising activities to generate revenues for the club, and other projects that are proposed and adopted by club members  which may enhance the community in which we reside.
 


 
Objectives
1. Improve criminal justice through educational activities.
2. Foster professional, academic, and public awareness of criminal justice issues.
3. Promote professionalism in law enforcement personnel and agencies.
4. Encourage the establishment and expansion of higher education and professional training in criminal justice.
5. Provide a unified voice for both professionals and students in the area of criminal justice.
6. Promote high standards of ethical conduct, professional training, and higher education within the criminal justice field.
