Both instructors have many years of field experience as "certified welders."  Before becoming a full-time educator, Mike Bryant worked as a welding sub-contractor for twenty years.  His experience includes fabrication, pipe lines, structural, heavy equipment repair and general maintenance welding. He joined the staff at Dabney S. Lancaster Community College in 1999.

Jack Hicks is a new comer to Dabney; however, we are delighted to have him here with us. Jack learned to pipe weld when he work as a structural welder for a construction company. He has worked at many different jobs like nuclear powers plants and fuel plants. Jack found his way to Jenfab Inc. where he is the current supervisor. He has experience in stainless steel, copper, aluminum, hastaloy, and other materials using GMAW, GTAW, and SMAW process'.
