Basic Writing Evaluation

As we work toward improvement of your writing skills, consider how your work will be evaluated.  Think back to the "Four-bases" Handout.  In order to have a well-communicated and clearly presented writing, you have to cover the bases.  This guide gives you a look at the areas that handout highlights.  Compare each base to the areas below.

 Each area holds 25% of the overall impact for the paper.  Needs in an area indicate more attention is required to strengthen that part of your writing and make it clear!  Remember: No paper is perfect…….but it cannot have significant need in any area and be effective.
