Basic Editing Guide:  The following list explains editing notations that identify problem areas in a writing--

v/t          =             Verb Tense

s/v agr  =             Subject/verb agreement

frag        =             fragment

r/o          =             run-on

c/s          =             comma splice

punc      =             punctuation

Sp           =             Spelling

Cap        =             Capitalization needed (can also be noted by two underlines under a letter.  Ex:  anna)

                =             New paragraph needed

                =             Great detail or special description/observation

                =             Good job!

                =             Parallel structure needed

Apos      =             Apostrophe (also noted with       in place of need)

p/r          =             pronoun reference unclear

p/agr     =             pronoun agreement problem

w/w`     =             wrong word

m/w      =             missing word

awk        =             award wording—confusing wording

                =             missing comma

                =             repetitious wording/awkward

                =             transition needed

                =             need more info/detail

                =             consider removing

                =             delete
