Welcome to the first official site of Josh Ford's Tied to the Trakz.  Josh has been working on this comic strip as part of an Independent Study Art course and the images you see here are the result of his efforts this semester.

He invites you to take a look, stop awhile, enjoy the view of a most-likely DSLCC student and the process of change.  Josh would love to have feedback from everyone, so please feel free to email him with comments and reactions.  ThankZ.

The Characters--At Least the Start.....of "Tied to the Trakz"

Doughy Parker: Poor Doughy doesn’t have much of a clue. He is just starting his first day of college at the beginning of the strip. He wears not-preppy, not-cool, but tries to be both. Jeans, button down shirt, hiking boots. He hasn’t quite figured out how to interact with other people, he hasn’t found his niche in life, and he is still figuring stuff out. Being a freshman, he hasn’t figured out that you don’t need to be at least 15 minutes early for class. He worries too much about what other people think of him.  Unlike Zeke, Doughy doesn’t know if he has any luck with the ladies because he is too scared to try.

Zeke Murphy: Zeke is cool. Almost everyone knows him or at least knows of him. In a way he cares about things, but at the same time he doesn’t give a $#!&. He spikes his hair, has green eyes, red hair, is about 3/4 Irish, wears Old Jeans, shamrock t-shirt, green chuck tailors. His parents named him Zeke after a great uncle (father’s side). His last name is an old family name, and is actually his mother’s maiden name. He drives a not-so-cool car, works a not-so-cool job, but doesn’t really care. He has no luck with the ladies but that doesn’t stop him from trying. Can be both serious and carefree, slipping between both pretty easily.
